The Executive Director (“ED”) is accountable for leading and directing AiMHi’s mission and strategic plan, and associated operations, as mandated by the Board of Directors. The ED plans and directs AiMHi activities and operations through the work of Senior Management. The ED ensures that AiMHi’s service delivery is of the highest quality and is in harmony with the organization’s vision, mission and values.
Reporting to the Board, the ED will inherit a smooth-running, financially viable, and engaged organization, and will be supported by the CFO, the CHRO, CSO, Operations Director, QA Manager, and EA as direct reports. The ED secures funding for AiMHi services and they will be expected to develop good relationships with people served, employees, Board Directors, families and networks, funders, government, and other related societies such as the BC CEO Network, Family Support Institute, BC Non-Profit Housing Association, and Inclusion BC. The ED makes regular efforts to connect with people served by AiMHi. Working with and
supporting the region’s Indigenous communities is also a top priority for the ED. This is an outstanding opportunity for a mission-driven and highly competent ED to lead a pivotal community living organization into its next chapter of growth and impact.
