Reporting to the COO in this newly created position, the Director, Compensation (“Director”) provides comprehensive advice and assistance related to the strategic coordination of job evaluation, compensation administration, data analysis, and benefits plan management, consistent with both governance and technical best practices. Possessing a keen awareness of the legal and legislative framework, and experience working in a unionized environment, the Director will bring well-honed quantitative and analytical abilities, and superb oral and written communication skills to researching, reviewing, and evaluating job duties, preparing job descriptions, and documenting analysis and recommendations. This work should be conducted with financial precision and consistent terminology, within a total compensation model.
