Reporting directly to the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board (herein referred to as the “CMRB” or the “Board”), the Chief Officer is the most senior staff officer of the CMRB and is responsible for ensuring that CMRB policies and programs are properly implemented. This executive assists the Board in its duties under the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board Regulation. The Chief Officer provides information, advice, and support to the Board and assists in developing policies, programs, and strategies at their direction. Additionally, they provide leadership and oversight to CMRB staff.
