Reporting to the President, the Director, CAPEX Sourcing (“Director”) is responsible for the procurement and sourcing activities related to capital parts, equipment and machinery required to operate and maintain the paper mill. They will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of capital equipment while maintaining high-quality standards and progressive supplier relationships.

The Director will establish best-in-class global CAPEX sourcing, implementing strategic sourcing, utilizing near and offshore sources for CAPEX purchases, and generating supplier relationships that include dismantlers, used equipment sources, and unique sources of supply to solve CPKI’s specific challenges. The Director will continually seek optimal value in service from suppliers, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics and initiating contract modifications.
