Reporting to the Board of Directors the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall operations of Casino Dene (“Casino Dene”) and Hotel Dene & Conference Centre (“Hotel Dene”) in accordance with its mission statement, policies and procedures. The position works with the Board of Directors and staff to establish objectives and organize and direct resources to meet the ends and goals of the organization.

The CEO is the “visible” face of the organization and is responsible for long-term sustainability, reputation and brand. They participate in the creation and implementation of a common vision and serve as a role model for the vision and values, while creating and fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and service among the senior leaders and throughout the organization. The primary goal is to maximize profitability and achieve planned goals for Casino Dene and Hotel Dene while ensuring compliance with all applicable governing gaming rules, regulatory requirements and restrictions as well as hotel industry best practices.
