The Senior Director, Innovation & Strategy (“SDIS”) is centrally responsible for the collaborative projects undertaken between Circle Innovation (“CI”) and external stakeholder groups. The SDIS provides strategic planning and leadership to a portfolio of business, research, consulting, and other ancillary services and initiatives across CI, providing resources for financial stability and growth. The SDIS provides financial and entrepreneurial direction to the CEO and other senior personnel. In support of this, the SDIS will develop partnerships with external stakeholders and groups, including industry, not-for-profits, government and other groups. The SDIS works with these stakeholders to create tailored projects designed to meet the needs of participating groups and organizations, and will execute on these projects following approval by Circle Innovation’s Board and CEO. Finally, to support the success of these projects, the SDIS will ensure that required people, equipment and systems are in place to deliver on mandated deliverables for these projects. As part of this, the SDIS will provide oversight and management for various staff working on industry projects.
