Reporting to the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, the Director, Information Services oversees the IT, GIS and records management, and is a member of the City’s senior leadership team. The Director, Information Services is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, implementation and delivery of information services for the City of Beaumont. The Director is a key driver in change who inspires and enables teams to realign business and processes systems to support the delivery of programs and services in order to position the City in achieving its mission of providing sustainable programs and services.

The Director will be responsible for analysing our current systems and working closely with departments to identify organizational needs and develop creative and innovative ways to address the problems and opportunities facing Administration. The Director provides leadership to six staff (two in IT, three in GIS and one in Records Management), and manages a budget of $1.5M.
