The City of Edmonton is seeking a diverse range of voices to provide anti-racist recommendations to Edmonton City Council. The mandate of the Community Safety and Well-Being Task Force is to initiate an inclusive, relationship-based process to create actionable recommendations for Council regarding the future of community safety and well-being in Edmonton. The Task Force provides an opportunity for community members to have more input into the system.
This opportunity is available to all community members in Edmonton, regardless of experience or education.
Under the leadership of the chair, members will work under tight timelines to provide recommendations to City Council by the end of March 2021. This work will include identifying, engaging, and seeking input from stakeholder groups, relevant City Council committees, and subject matter experts.
As a member of the Task Force, you will be supported by City staff with communications, project management, and subject matter expert support to help you deliver the recommendations .
