Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Engineering (“Director”) is a highly visible leader responsible for initiating, planning, and directing the execution of a wide variety of engineering initiatives in accordance with applicable legislation, City objectives, policies and sound engineering and administrative practices. The Director manages the overall operations, budget planning, and expenditures of the Department, and oversees the work of the various sections of the department, working closely with other departments, agencies and consultants.
