Reporting to the City Manager the General Manager of Corporate Services is responsible to provide visionary and strategic leadership to the Corporate Services Division of the City. As a member of the Corporate Leadership team, the incumbent has overall accountability for the departments of Finance, Information Systems, Corporate Planning, Business Services (including Customer Experience, Procurement, Risk, and Insurance) and Facilities and Fleet.

The General Manager of Corporate Services leads the development and implementation of policies and programs to ensure the resources of the municipality are managed in a cost-effective and responsible manner. The individual will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, support, and advice regarding financial management functions and thereby the overall management of the municipal budget.
