Reporting to the Dean, Instruction, the Associate Dean, Health (“Associate Dean”) will focus their efforts on health programming, with its associated partnerships and pathways, but will also support all aspects of the Arts, Science, Health and Human Services portfolio, including the University Credit Program, Degree Partnerships with affiliated institutions, and the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program—Registered Nurse. These programs are located across CTMN’s campuses situated throughout the Northwest region, including Haida Gwaii, Prince Rupert, Terrace, Hazelton, and Smithers.
The Associate Dean ensures the College provides quality, fiscally sound, educational programming and services which are responsive to its communities. They are responsible for effective communication between students, staff, faculty, administration and external stakeholders, with an overarching mission to foster a culture that enables CMTN to become the college of choice for experiential place-based learning. As a member of CMTN’s administrative team, the Associate Dean will model best practices of instruction in the support of faculty and students.
