The Registrar and CEO (the “Registrar”), under the direction of the Board, is responsible for the overall management of the College, including strategic leadership, planning, and financial management.

The Registrar is responsible for overseeing all matters related to regulation of the profession of naturopathic medicine in British Columbia, including registration, inquiries, complaint investigation, discipline, quality assurance, standards of practice, and legislation. The role is also responsible for maintaining relationships and communication with government, relevant boards and agencies, and working with other leaders on initiatives related to the practice of naturopathic medicine within the province. Many day-to-day responsibilities are delegated to other senior staff, including the Deputy Registrar, the Director of Investigations and Regulatory Compliance, and the Director of Registration and Policy. The CNPBC team also includes three administrative staff.
