Reporting to the VP, Academic, the Dean of Health Sciences (“Dean”) plays a pivotal leadership role in fostering academic excellence, student success, and community engagement. Through a lens of strategic enrolment management, the Dean has responsibility for leading, guiding, and managing the development and operation of the School of Health Sciences, consistent with the College’s strategic and academic plans, providing leadership and oversight of program delivery excellence. The Dean will oversee multiple academic programs, ensuring alignment with the College’s mission, strategic goals, and community needs. They balance the operational needs of academic programs with visionary leadership to ensure innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning, as well as student success.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an inclusive, progressive post-secondary leader to make a significant impact in one of the CNC’s core schools. With an emphasis on building culture and engagement, the Dean will work closely with faculty, staff, students, partner organizations, licensors, and CNC’s communities to ensure the School of Health Sciences remains vital and relevant. The Dean will also work across CNC, in partnership with other faculty, staff, and administrators to collaboratively achieve the broader College mission and objectives.
