Under the general direction of the Associate Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager, Learning and Development (“HR Manager L&D”) is responsible for the training and professional development of the College’s employees. Their purpose is to make the most out of people’s talents and help them develop to their full potential. At the same time, the HR Manager, L&D keeps a strong focus not just on what the learner wants and needs, but also on the needs of the organization. As this is a new position, it is anticipated that approximately the first six months will be spent developing the role and scope of the position, along with meeting personal training objectives to become fully competent in the role.
