Reporting to a Division Leader based elsewhere, the Country Manager (CM) will have full responsibility for all aspects of the Canadian business, including promoting a “safety” culture. The position will uphold the profitability and values of the organization by proactively leading business operations to meet current and future needs of the organization and customer requirements. The CM will lead the quarterly and annual budgeting process and have P&L responsibility, working with senior leadership to determine corporate and regional business goals. The position will lead a team of department managers including Operations, Quality, Finance, HR, Customer Care, and IT within a unionized production environment. The position will also manage and support commercial relationships and business development between the organization, sales and existing customers and potential new accounts. The position will also be coordinating and dealing with governmental and legal affairs and institutions as required.
