ID# 24-2400 Location: Preference for candidates who reside in the Eastern Region (Atlantic, Ontario and Quebec)
Ducks Unlimited Canada is currently seeking a member to join its dynamic Conservation PRO team. This position has responsibilities within the Eastern Region (Atlantic, Ontario, and Quebec); however, the initial focus will be developing partnerships and business opportunities within the larger urban centers in southern Ontario. Travel within the entire region will be required.
Under the direction of the National Conservation PRO Lead and with a dotted reporting line to the Director of Regional Operations (DRO), the Regional Conservation PRO Lead (RCPL) provides leadership and advice to the Conservation PRO group with the goal of generating revenue within DUC’s fee-for-service business streams.
A key element to this role is building and maintaining business relationships with prospective and existing clients, raising awareness of DUC relevance, and acquiring new business. The RCPL requires strong skills and demonstrated experience in relationship management, business development, marketing, client recruitment, management and retention.
The RCPL also acts as an internal resource with the MPO, provincial Conservation PRO, and conservation staff to provide support and guidance on business practices and standards, coordination across provinces and regions, business line operations, and opportunities related to fee-for-service surplus mission-aligned revenue generation.
