Evonik’s Maitland, ON site is a specialty chemical operation that produces hydrogen peroxide; since Evonik acquired the site in 2011, it has invested in its upgrade and expansion, due to increased product demand, including a recently announced $8.9M upgrade. The Plant Engineering Manager is responsible for the day-to-day safety, quality, and mechanical integrity of the site, as well as leading ongoing capital and preventative maintenance projects. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Engineering Manager leads a team of four maintenance employees and provides general engineering and maintenance expertise across the operation.

This is an outstanding growth opportunity for an experienced engineer to progress into operational leadership or technical leadership in the Maitland facility, within Evonik North America, or even globally.
