Reporting to the CFO & VP, Corporate Services, the Health & Safety Manager develops, implements, and evaluates organizational wide occupational health and safety programs. The Health & Safety Manager serves as the specialist for occupational safety programs by developing and maintaining a Health and Safety program that exceeds current legislative requirements.

The Health & Safety Manager diligently encourages and promotes positive and effective employee relations through communication initiatives, providing coaching and training opportunities, as well as guidance and direction to leaders and team members. Emergency response leadership for the organization includes managing incidents as well as ensuring the organization is well prepared to react to situations as they arise. The Health & Safety Manager will ensure safety at the organization is well managed through a variety of tools and activities.
