Alberta Energy and Minerals has an opportunity for a results-driven leader who possesses strong relationship building abilities, political acumen, and effective communication skills.

As the Strategic Advisor, reporting to the Deputy Minister (DM) of Energy and Minerals you are the main point of contact in the Deputy Ministry`s Office and act as a liaison and key resource for strategic support, advice, and assistance to ministry staff, the DM Office, Executive Council, and other stakeholders. This role provides strategic advice to the Deputy Minister, supports the Minister and their team, and leads senior-level outreach to energy stakeholders across the eco-system. This individual works with all divisions within the ministry, as well as other departments, to help develop solutions to emerging issues.
