The Executive Director, Human Resources (People & Culture) reports to the President and CEO and is an active member of the Executive Team. The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic leadership of the Human Resources Department in support of GPRC’s organizational goals and objectives. This is achieved through the alignment of all People strategies with GPRC Vision and Values.
The Executive Director ensures Human Resources is developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Human Resource systems, programming, policies, and processes that are innovative, efficient, effective, and nimble.
The Executive Director is responsible for supporting programing including people and culture experience, labour and employee relations, collective bargaining, total rewards, talent management, workforce planning, leadership and organizational development, employee engagement, human resource administration, and policy and legislative compliance. The Executive Director’s role includes developing and administering the department budget and developing and mentoring leadership staff generally and the HR team specifically.
