Reporting to the President and CEO, and as a member of the Executive Committee (EC) and Senior Leadership Council (SLC) the Vice-President, People & Culture (VPPC) provides strategic leadership to the JIBC by developing and promoting a positive and effective human resources environment and culture.
The VPPC is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of a broad range of strategic and operational activities related to HR and labour relations, as well as overseeing the Communications and Marketing Department. This includes developing and implementing an employee value proposition unique to the JIBC, employee development, responsibility for collective bargaining, collective agreement administration, labour and employee relations, succession planning, compensation and benefits, performance management, strategic recruitment and retention of employees.
