This is a director-level position and a member of the Financial Services Leadership Team. Its primary purpose is to provide governance and legislation guidance, as well as procurement and contract service and customer support to all areas across the university. The incumbent must have a strong balance of technical knowledge and expertise, the ability to envision the future from an innovation lens, a customer service mindset, and strong leadership capabilities.
The role manages and mentors both direct and indirect reports in the Procurement and Contract Services (PACS) department.
This position is responsible for oversight and management of procurement planning and service delivery in support of operating spend of approximately $60M annually, and capital expenditures at a minimum of $20M annually, but increasing with major projects as required.
