The President is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MITT and is accountable to the Board of Governors for the overall leadership and management of MITT. The President provides strategic leadership and vision, inspires innovation and creativity, builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and fosters dedication, collaboration, and accountability to ensure the successful achievement of the Institute’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
As the champion of MITT’s strategic plan, the President and CEO is dedicated to advancing the institution’s mandate of being Industry Driven and Student FocusedTM. This individual will provide inspiration and direction for the institution internally and serve as a visible and staunch ambassador and collaborator externally. The incumbent is a visionary and innovative leader, achievement-oriented, a highly engaging communicator, and an exceptional team and relationship builder. They possess a strategic and operational leadership track record that demonstrates the ability to work with secondary and post-secondary partners, business and industry leaders, Indigenous and diverse communities and organizations, government, alumni, donors, and other key stakeholders.
