Restructured in 2021 with shareholders Nunasi Corporation, Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics Corporation (PAIL) and ATCO Frontec, Nasittuq Corporation (Nasittuq) is a 51% owned Inuit corporation with the mission to provide exemplary technical and management services to Canadian and U.S. Government customers, while increasing opportunities for Inuit participation as trainees, employees, suppliers and owners. Nasittuq has been successful in achieving this mission through in-service support contracts with the North Warning System, in addition to providing operations and maintenance services at CFS Alert on Ellesmere Island, NU.

With an over-arching mandate to ensure the safety of all Canadians, Nasittuq is committed to providing the highest standard of technical services across the North. As the current President approaches retirement, their successor will join an organization that has weathered significant change over the recent past. After successfully restructuring to achieve a majority ownership stake for the four settlement region Inuit groups, Nasittuq successfully regained the Canadian contract to operate and maintain the North Warnings System.
