A member of the executive leadership team, the VP Entrepreneurship and Partnerships is a leader who embodies the values of NWP and will be a key driver in ensuring we meet our ambitious vision to be the most entrepreneurial polytechnic in Canada. The VPEP is focused on enhancing NWP’s programming, partnerships, business opportunities and investments and is specifically accountable for overseeing institutional activities in the areas of marketing, communications, advancement, events and building an institution-defining centre of global entrepreneur excellence. The role may also include international programming.

The VPEP’s objectives are to strengthen the Polytechnic’s brand, reputation and output and by extension, its ability to leverage existing lines of global entrepreneurship and programming. The incumbent works across their portfolio to develop strategies to identify new revenue generating opportunities and platforms, drawing on other areas and organizational resources as required, while implementing institutional systems to ensure that Alberta’s newest polytechnic’s various business development activities are focused and coordinated.
