Ontario Native Women’s Association – Branch Manager, Ottawa

Established in 1971, the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) is the oldest Canadian Indigenous Women’s not for profit organization that empowers and supports all Indigenous women and their families in the province of Ontario through research, advocacy, policy, development, and programs that focus on local regional and provincial activities.

Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Gladue Justice, Anti-Human Trafficking, Family Wellness, and Traditional Healing programs. The Branch Manager will have expertise in preparing and monitoring budgets, funding acquisitions, and program coordination related to addressing the socio-health needs for Indigenous women, their families, and community. This role requires professional knowledge to lead the inter-disciplinary team to develop and implement mental health, justice, crisis, and parenting training, program development, and applications of socialhealth strategies that align with ONWA’s vision, strategic plan, and guiding principle.
