Reporting to the Deputy Superintendent, the Director of Human Resources is a leadership role accountable for developing, implementing, directing and evaluating the Human Resource functions for the Division. The position participates in strategic planning and is given responsibility for developing and implementing creative and innovative opportunities that will move the organization forward.
The key areas of responsibility for this position include recruitment, labour relations/contract negotiations, employee relations, professional/leadership and organizational development, human resource administrative procedure development and disability management.
