Prince Rupert Port Authority – Director, Indigenous Relations

 

Managing a vital trade gateway on Canada’s west coast, the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) operates within the territory of the Ts’msyen people who have lived and traded in the area for thousands of years. PRPA strives to reflect the values and standards of local Indigenous communities.

Reporting to the Vice President, Public Affairs and Sustainability, the Director, Indigenous Relations(DIR) is responsible for relationship building, ensuring detailed consultation, economic negotiations, and the fulfillment of commitments to Indigenous communities related to PRPA’s major projects. This position is responsible for the ongoing alignment of Indigenous policies, programs, and communications across PRPA.
