Red River College – Director, Enrolment Services and Registrar

The Director, Enrolment Services and Registrar (the Registrar) is integral to any post-secondary institution and places student success and well-being together with the academic mission of the College at the heart of their work. Reporting to the Executive Director – Student Services and Global Partnerships, the Registrar is a key senior leader within the College, providing and courageous and visionary leadership to the department, while contributing to the College’s strategic direction and priorities. In straddling the worlds of operational and strategic leadership, this leader will play a major role in current College initiatives, including:

  • Restructure of the Enrolment Services Department, including change management
  • Development of Service Standards for Enrolment Services across the College
  • Transition to course-based registration as part of the College’s journey of Academic Transformation
  • Implementation of the College’s new Strategic Plan (release scheduled  Fall 2022)
  • Development of the College’s new Academic Plan  (Fall 2022)

The successful individual will need to work collaboratively with leaders in the Academic portfolio, as well as other service areas of the College, to provide exemplary service to student and to oversee the application of policies and process and decisions related to admission, registration, records, academic progress, graduation, financial aid and student awards. The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to support the bold new vision of Red River College.

Red River College will be releasing a new Strategic Plan in the Fall of 2022 that will provide a bold new vision for the College and this vision will drive the development of a new Academic Plan. Recent changes to the Student Services and Global Partnerships portfolio, and specifically the Enrolment Services Department, are grounded in an extensive external review and will position the Department to support the goals and priorities emerging through the Strategic Plan and the Academic Plans. The ideal candidate will be energized by the challenge of playing a critical role in the implementation of the College’s new Strategic and Academic plans.
