This position will provide executive leadership to a variety of functions that make a value-added contribution to the effective performance  and smooth functioning of the Saskatoon Police Service. In a word, leadership is what you can bring to the team. Your ability to provide authentic leadership, working collaboratively to provide the vision, expertise, energy and excitement to move the organization forward, introducing new ways of thinking and working hard for the citizens of Saskatoon. You are drawn to public service and have confidence in your ability to become a respected and valued member of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Executive Leadership Team. Your communication skills are strong and well developed, both written and verbal, and you take interest in what others have to say as an active listener.

As one who is politically astute, you understand a political environment, but you are not “political”. You have high emotional intelligence and can read the room; you know the appropriate time and place for what needs to be said or done. Accountability is in your DNA. You have a collaborative approach and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external to the Saskatoon Police Service. You provide sound judgement, guided by your knowledge, solid business instincts and strong ethics.
