Reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Education, with functional reporting to the Assistant Secretary Treasurer, the Director, Internal Audit & Advisory (“Director”) works with management in the delivery of its programs. The Director maintains their independence from management through a direct reporting relationship with the Board of Education.

The Director provides the Board of Education and the Office of the Secretary-Treasurer with independent, objective business performance and advisory services through the delivery of a comprehensive, risk-based Annual Business Performance Plan, including assurance (internal audit), enterprise strategy, and business performance elements.
