The Associate Vice President (“AVP”), Campus Planning and Facilities Management (“CPFM”) is responsible for coordinating and leading long-term campus planning and development on UFV’s campuses, centres, and real estate portfolio, incorporating maintenance and upkeep of the physical asset inventory. In addition, the AVP provides strategic oversight for the university’s energy management and environmental sustainability objectives. Leading a team of directors, the AVP provides direction and management of the division.

The AVP is a key member of the senior management team providing advice, direction and guidance on matters relating to campus planning and is responsible for delivering on a broad set of goals. This is an outstanding opportunity for a visionary leader to make a lasting impact on a growing and thriving, multi-campus institution. With large-scale capital projects on the go, an exciting new properties trust initiative, a broad commitment to sustainability, and a motivated multi-departmental team, the AVP will work across the organization to integrate the various streams within facilities and planning to ensure UFV’s physical spaces strategically align with and enable its academic mission over the long term.
