The role of the Director, Engineering Services is a key member of the Shared Services group based in the Canadian head office in Burnaby, BC. The position provides technical leadership to the Engineering and Terminal Maintenance teams. They will be responsible for the strategic oversight and alignment of the Canadian Maintenance departments and standardizing their operation, to ensure maximum operational availability, reliability and safety of the equipment and facilities.

The Director of Engineering Services at DP World must be a strategic, commercially minded engineering leader who combines deep technical credibility with strong operational judgment and an unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and performance. They are comfortable leading complex engineering functions across large-scale, asset-intensive operations, while building high-performing teams and strong relationships across operations, commercial, technology, and executive leadership. The ideal person is decisive but collaborative, able to translate technical complexity into clear business priorities, and disciplined about asset lifecycle management, capital investment, risk, and continuous improvement. Above all, they are a visible, accountable leader who develops people, challenges the status quo, embraces innovation and sustainability, and consistently connects engineering excellence to DP World’s broader customer and business objectives.
