Working in partnership with the Board Chair and the President & CEO, the National Board of Directors fosters the growth of the YMCA across Canada. National Board directors are elected for a three-year term by the YMCA National Council, the federation’s senior legislative and policy body with representation from each Member Association in Canada. The National Board meets quarterly, generally with three meetings taking place in Toronto and one in another Canadian location.
